Monetization is much more than just pricing. It’s elements are much deeper than just setting up game or IAP pricing or advertisement layers. Most developers think about monetization too late – planning should be started as soon as you start developing the game to fit the model to your core audience needs. Great games won’t be ruined by good monetization, but bad monetization can ruin great games.
